Wade McGuinn steps down as McGuinn Hybrid Homes CEO, Mike Kelly replaces

Mike Kelly will take the role of Chief Executive Officer at McGuinn Hybrid Homes beginning Monday (Aug. 21.)

Wade McGuinn announced the decision. He is stepping away from the company’s leadership role. Kelly, who was the CFO, is his second in command. The McGuinn Hybrid Homes home office is on Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia.

“Since Mike joined us in 2001, he has steadily helped steer our company through many of our biggest milestones, around obstacles, and to our greatest achievements. With Mike’s passion, vision and expertise, he’ll continue to drive our organization to accomplish our mission – to transform lives by delivering great homes that strengthen communities.”

The move will allow Mr. McGuinn to focus on MAP Land and Homes LLC, a commercial building and development venture of which he is co-owner. McGuinn Hybrid Homes enters its 37th year of homebuilding. It is the oldest locally-owned home builder in the Columbia market.

Also announced, Nate Gibson, the company’s current CFO is being promoted to Chief Operating Officer, the role being vacated by Mr. Kelly.
