Dear Daddy,
I have no words to express how I really feel right now. You were the best dad I could have ever asked for. I am like you in so many ways. You were my best friend. You were so excited to meet Eli. You’ll be the best granddaddy, even if it’s from heaven. You have angel wings now daddy. You were nice to everyone you met. You made such an impact on everyone you came across.
I’ll always be your little girl. Your “super squirrel.” Please keep my family in your prayers during this time.

Stunned to read that FOX 102’s Benji Norton passed. I first met him at WZLD FM when they were across from BC High School and they played album rock. We worked together a lot when Howards Sports sold Fox Wear exclusively. I sold shirts at remotes and radio events. I was also a part of the Benji’s Breakfast Bums softball team. I’m sure Mike Scott will be there in heaven to greet him. — feeling sad.

This hurts as he was a friend of mine for many years. You will be missed by so many who grew up with you, always with a smile and made Columbia radio bearable. Till we meet again, Benji.

I just listened to him Friday…What happened? This is so sad! I listened to him when Fox began and loved the fact he had returned. Rest In Peace, Benji. Thanks for sharing music with us all these years!
