A missing 10-year-old girl has been found safe in another state, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Heni Yolanda Cinto Navarro was found in another state around 4:15 p.m. Monday with the help of the FBI.
Deputies did not give any word as to why she was in another state or how she got there.
“I can’t thank the community and the FBI enough for their assistance in this case. I am happy to announce that Heni was successfully recovered and is safe,” Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said.
Navarro was last seen around 8 a.m. Sunday leaving her home near William Hardin Road in Richland County.
The details regarding her disappearance are still under investigation.
