On Friday, an officer met with a victim who said that over the last week, she had received threatening text messages from Curtis Joyeux where he said that he would kill her and members of her family.  A warrant for Unlawful Communication was issued for Curtis Joyeux and officers were actively searching for him.

At 6:50 p.m., the victim called 9-1-1 saying that Curtis Joyeux, along with at least one of his friends, had been at her apartment knocking on the door several times.  She told the dispatcher that they were in a black Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows and were leaving the apartment complex.

Officers who were nearby saw the vehicle on Sunset Boulevard make an improper turn and conducted a traffic stop.  They found Curtis Joyeux in the vehicle and he was placed under arrest.  Also in the vehicle were Twavon Keandre Williams, age 21 of Columbia, and Ladeera Satona Miller, age 22 of Columbia.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found three loaded firearms which were unlawfully carried along with a small amount of marijuana.  All three were arrested and transported to the Lexington County Detention Center for booking procedures.
