Have you been to the Hilton Garden Inn Columbia Airport, lately? A lot of changes have been made.
The facility became a Hilton Garden Inn in 2020. It was a Holiday Inn Express before that.
“The rooms are brand new and we have a full-service restaurant and bar, with a complimentary hotel shuttle to the Columbia Metropolitan Airport,” said Shelley Nutt, Hilton Garden Inn’s director of sales.
The Inn, at 110 McSwain Dr., in West Columbia is conveniently located at the intersection of I-26 and Sunset Boulevard. It’s a member of the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber.
“Hilton Garden Inn is committed to staying ahead of the tourism needs, and therefore has invested in their property to make sure the visitors to our community have accommodations that exceed expectations,” said Tim James, Chamber president. “Additionally, the event spaces at the Hilton Garden Inn are ideal for any local business to hold professional forums. They are spacious, with all needed equipment on hand.”
Nutt said the inn now has 5,000-sq-ft of meeting space and a 24-hour market with sandwiches, salads, snacks, and beverages. There’s also an on-site catering service.
The inn has other upgrades, too.
It has an expanded fitness room with free weights and several treadmills and a saltwater pool. There is also a sitting area outside, with a firepit.
