At the Substation II, next to the Brookland-Cayce football stadium, renovations are taking place. The popular sandwich shop is not expanding, it’s adding a conventional roof. The flat-roof on the building made it more susceptible to leaks.

Airport and Brookland-Cayce  played Friday night at Chapin High School in the Aun and McKay Kickoff Classic jamboree. There were four games  at Cecil Woolbright Field. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was shot at approximately 4 p.m. on Tuesday, at River Oaks Apartment on Bush River Road in Columbia.
