Airport High School Principal David Damm is reinstated

Airport High School Principal David Damm has been reinstated.

Damm was placed on administrative leave last week. He was said to have used a bad word (dumb@$$#$) over the school’s intercom to describe the behavior of some unruly students, according to parents who have children at the school.

The decision to reinstate Damm became public Wednesday evening. There was also a special meeting Wednesday night at the Lexington Two District Education Center by the Lexington District Two Board of Trustees.

Damm’s return was celebrated by at least one member of the school’s staff with a Facebook post.
